K&D Countertops

Four steps

From consultation to installation, in about four weeks.

Because K&D handles design, template, fabrication, and installation in-house, there are no middlemen and no handoffs. Here's what to expect from start to finish.

    Visit a showroom

Come see Cambria samples, edge profiles, and sink options in person. Our designers will walk you through layout, color, and edge choices, then put together a preliminary quote based on your rough dimensions.

    Typically

    60–90 minutes

  2. 02

    Template

Once you've selected your material and your cabinets are set, we schedule a template appointment. Our field technician will visit your home and make a precise digital template of your space to ensure an accurate fit for your new countertops.

    Typically

    45–60 minutes

  3. 03

    Fabrication

Your countertop is cut and carefully finished in our local state-of-the-art shop. From the digital template through CNC cutting to final polish, we do it all in-house — no waiting on a third-party fabricator, no handoffs, no surprises.

    Typically

    1–2 weeks

  4. 04

    Installation

Installation day is typically 4–8 hours for a standard kitchen. Our installers set the countertop, finish the seams, and clean up. Your new countertops are ready to use within 24 hours — sinks and cooktops are usually reconnected the same day.

    Typically

    4–8 hours

Full timeline

3–5 weeks, showroom to installation.

Most projects fit in that window. Larger projects, custom edge work, and complex layouts may take longer. Unforeseen delays can happen with any construction project — when they do, we'll tell you right away and give you a revised timeline. You'll get a firm schedule after your template appointment and updates along the way.
