K&D Countertops Supports Sugar Creek Ambulance Service

K&D Countertops continues to support the local community with a donation to the Sugar Creek Ambulance Service. This donation has helped pay for a Stryker Power Load System for the all-volunteer EMS service. Cheryl Corley says "This new system will allow EMS workers to help move, load, and transport patients more safely. Most importantly, it will also decrease the risk of back injuries to the volunteers as well as increase safety if the ambulance is involved in an accident."

Cheryl Corley wrote this about Carl Durkee in our Employee Newsletter: “Carl Durkee sent in this “Back in the Day” photo. According to Carl, “A passerby took this picture several years ago. He did ask if I would mind if he took a picture. I answered that it was okay, but he must send it to K&D. This particular delivery truck fuel gauge did not work, and to top it off (pardon the pun) it was raining at the time. It’s surely nice to have better equipment today!”
